Breaking News!!! – Worker Injured At Port Granby Long-Term Waste Management Facility

A worker has been air-lifted following a “incident” at the Port Granby Project Long-Term Waste Management Facility.
Communications spokesperson Bill Day said the incident happened at approximately 11 a.m., “resulting in a personal injury to one of our sub-contracting staff. The injured person has been transported to hospital by air ambulance.”
All work at the site has been stopped and everyone not involved in the incident has been sent home.
“We are gathering information about the incident and will provide more details on PHAI.ca.”
The Port Granby site is located in Southeast Clarington, south of the 401 near Lakeshore.
