Tractor Trailer Runs Over Boulder

In Local

A tractor trailer driver ran into a bit of a predicament at the Highway 401 eastbound On-Route near Wesleyville on November 27, 2018.
A transport truck that was trying to negotiate around another truck, went up on the grass and hooked onto a approximately six foot by two foot landscape boulder.
After driving through the parking lot, the driver was waved down by someone telling him he was driving around with the boulder.
The driver continued to drive trying unsuccessfully to dislodge the boulder from the trailer.
Police and a heavy tow truck arrived to remove the trailer off of the boulder.
Police say the trailer suffered major damage.
