Cobourg Police – Male Arrested on Outstanding Committal Warrant

Cobourg Police have charged a male after responding to a suspicious person call in the towns east end.
On Thursday the 27th day of September, 2018, at approximately 1:45pm, police responded to an east end neighbourhood in response to a suspicious person call.
Cobourg Police located a man, and the ensuing police investigation revealed that the man was currently wanted on a relief of surety warrant held by the Cobourg Police Service. The man was arrested on the strength of the warrant. Michael RUTLEDGE age 37 of No Fixed Address was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
