Salmon Season Almost Over

In Editor Choice, Local, Photo Gallery

It was the second last weekend for salmon fishing and anglers made the most of it along the Ganaraska River in Port Hope. The river is known throughout the Province for some of the best salmon fishing and it seems to be one of the busiest spots with the amount of anglers lining the banks this weekend. With the number of salmon in the water, all it took was a bit of patience and fishwould be hooked and the fight was on. Sometimes during the day, anglers had to avoid one another with their lines to avoid being tangled as they tried to land the fish.
