In Community, Editor Choice, Local, Photo Gallery

It was a gorgeous weekend for the Concert Band of Cobourg aka, The Royal Marines Association of Ontario to head to Plattsburgh, for the Battle of Plattsburgh ceremonies.
The Concert Band of Cobourg has been welcomed by Plattsburgh for 17 years.
This years weather was one of the most comfortable for the parade said some band members.
After the parade down the main street and beat retreat ceremonies, the evening brought another memorable concert at beautifully elegant Strand Theatre.
With a number of soloists taking part including Chris Devlin, and Pipe Major Mary Ito from the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums.
Cobourg Mayor elect John Henderson exchanged gifts with the City of Plattsburgh Mayor Colin Read.
