Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Break and Enter, Weapons Dangerous, Possession of Break and Enter tools and Fail to Comply

The Cobourg Police have arrested a 49 year old male for the offences of Break and Enter, Possession of a weapon, Possession of Break and Enter tools and failing to comply with Probation.
On Sunday the 19th of August, 2018, at approximately 11:36pm, officers from the Cobourg Police Service responded to a business in the downtown core after receiving a report of a break and enter in progress.
As a result of a subsequent Police investigation, 49 year old Scott MacDonald of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Break and Enter, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Possession of Break and Enter Tools and fail to comply with Probation under the Criminal Code.
Scott MacDonald was held in custody and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice for a bail hearing on Monday the 20th day of August 2018.
