A special treat for those who enjoy the Tuesday evening concerts in Victoria Park on August 7.
The Royals are playing on Tuesday, August 7th at the usual 8:00 – 9:30 time slot.
The Royals, started by Bill Crawford in 1976 have been active in the community by:
- supporting Fund Raisers for Northumberland Hospital;
- playing at several charity events; and
- performing at dances over the past four decades.
Comprised primarily from members of the Concert Band of Cobourg, the band’s repertoire includes well known swing numbers from the Big Band era, including selections from the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Count Basie and Woody Herman.
Tanya Wills, who is well known not only in our community but throughout the GTA, will be featured as our Vocal stylist for the evening.
