Cobourg Police – Male Arrested for Mischief to Police Vehicle

On the 17th of July 2018 at approximately 6:45am, an officer of the Cobourg Police Service observed a male in the police vehicle parking lot, directly behind the police station. At this time, the man was observed scratching symbols into the paint of a Cobourg Police patrol vehicle.

Officers arrested Stephen SCHOENMAKER, 33 years of age, of no fixed address, for Mischief under $5000 under the Criminal Code, and further charged him with Enter Premises when Entry Prohibited, under the Trespass to Property Act.

Stephen SCHOENMAKER was held at the Cobourg Police Service for a bail hearing on July 17th 2018.
