Residential Break and Enter – Arrest x2

Release Narrative:

At 3:35 pm, on the 20th of June, 2018, Officers of the Cobourg Police Service responded to a Break and Enter in Progress call at a residence located on Burnham Street, in the Town of Cobourg.
Upon arrival at the address, officers located male and female suspect in the backyard of the property and both were subsequently detained. Investigation resulted in both parties being arrested.
As a result the two accused parties were identified as:
1. Darryl DAWE, 49 years of age of No Fixed Address; and
2. Shannon HICKS, 34 years of age of No Fixed Address.

Both accused are charged with the same offences:
1. Break and Enter contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code and
2. Mischief Under $5000 contrary to Section 430(4) of the Criminal Code
Both accused were later released by Promise to Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking with conditions. They are to attend court on July 25, 2018 for their First Appearances.
