11th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Takes Place In Cobourg

In Community, Local

The 11th annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes took place starting at the Cobourg Public Library at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018.
The event was in support of Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre.
The walk was lead once again by members of the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums and a special event this year were a group from Cobourg Tae Kwon Do who did an extended walk as a part of their black belt graduation – walking from Port Hope Town Hall to Cobourg Public Library and then with others through the downtown.

11th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes was a great success. We had over 125 men, women, children and families participate on Saturday; helping to raise more than $37,000 for Cornerstone
