Theft of Remote Control Vehicle – Port Hope Police

Theft of remote control truck

An Augusta Street resident reported on the 4th of June 2018 the theft of a remote control vehicle. The replica Jimmy Blazer is valued at $2000.00 and was in the bed of the victim’s truck. It is believed the theft occurred over the last few days. Over the last week Port Hope Police have responded to several thefts from motor vehicles that were left unlocked.  Police are reminding residents to ensure their vehicles are locked when not in use. Police recommend that valuables not be left in the vehicle however if they are to keep them from plain view and locked inside.  Anyone with information on this theft are asked to call Port Hope Police at 905-885-8123, email phps@phps.on.ca or contact Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 705 745 9000
