Youth Arrested for Assault

The Cobourg Police have charged a Youth after responding to a male causing a disturbance.

On Wednesday the 30th of May, 2018, at approximately 4: 00pm, Police responded to a business located in the North end of Cobourg after receiving a report of a male causing a disturbance in the parking lot.

As a result of the ensuing police investigation, a Cobourg Youth was charged with assault under the Criminal Code and Fail to Comply with Court Order under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The accused is being held in custody pending a Show Cause Hearing. The identity of the accused will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victim in this matter.
