Bail Violations

A 25 year old Port Hope man is charged with three counts of failing to comply with an officer in charge undertaking.  The man was placed on the undertaking as a result of an allegation of a domestic related assault. Conditions compelled the man to remain away form an east end residence and not to have contact with the alleged victim. Police arrested the man on the 23rd of April after he was located in the company of the alleged victim.  He was held in custody pending a show cause hearing.

A London man is facing charges of failing to comply with an officer in charge undertaking after Police investigated him as a result of a liquor licence act complaint. On the 28th of April shortly after 7:00pm Port Hope Police were called to the river north of the Robertson St because a group of people were seen consuming liquor. They located a man who was displaying the obvious signs of alcohol consumption.  A check revealed the man was compelled by way of an undertaking not to consume alcohol. As a result he was charged and given a court date at the end of May. Ryan Hibma is accused.

A 25 year old Port Hope man is under arrest after Port Hope Police was called to a family disturbance on the 29th of April 2018 shortly after 6:00pm. Police attended the east end residence as a result of a 911 call. Police located two people who claimed they were assaulted by their son during a heated argument.  It is alleged glassware and other objects were thrown at them. A woman received cuts to her hands.  The man had left the scene and was located by Police walking on Mill Street.  The man is charged with 2 counts of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief.  He was held in custody pending a show cause hearing.

Woman facing drug charges after vehicle investigated by Port Hope Police.

A 47 year old Port Hope woman is under arrest after Police investigated her in a motor vehicle. Police commenced an investigation into an allegation of liquor being consumed in a vehicle after locating it a Ward St and Hamilton Rd on April 29th shortly after 8:00pm. During the investigation Police located what they believe to be cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone and open liquor. Heather Gill-Fallowfield is charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purposes of trafficking, possession of a schedule 1 substance and 2 counts of violating conditions of bail.  She was held in custody pending a show cause hearing. A 25 year old man, who was in the vehicle, was charged with possessing open liquor in other then a licences premise or private place.
