After 70 Years Golden Beach Resort Sold To Great Blue Resorts

In Community, Local, News

In a letter posted on social media, the owners of Golden Beach Resort have announced they have sold their resort to Great Blue Resorts.

Letter of gratitude to all who have touched our lives.

Many of our family memories were created working along side of our parents Roger and Louise Chernuck and by growing up with so many wonderful people that visited Golden Beach Cottages each and every summer. What an unbelievable life experience the shores of Rice Lake have provided us.

As we were handed the reins from our parents, we started growing from a small fishing camp to what Golden Beach Resort has become today.  Throughout all of the years, our goal of helping families create lasting memories, year after year, has never changed.

It is a bittersweet day that we announce a new beginning for Golden Beach Resort. After a 70-year legacy we are filled with emotion but thrilled to be passing on our beloved Golden Beach to Great Blue Resorts.

We, Kelly and Olga, would like to thank all of the guests that have passed through our doors over the many years. Not only did our guests watch us grow but we in turn watched couples meet, celebrations take place and families multiply (some even up to 4 generations).

We would also like to thank each and every staff member, past and present. They have been our pillars in helping to create a safe, warm, clean and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests. Many of you started with us as students and have followed us on the journey to where we are today, and we couldn’t be more proud to have had you by our side.

We are excited that Great Blue Resorts prides themselves on continuing to grow our facilities and we have no doubt that they will surpass everyone’s expectations and continue to be a leader in the industry of vacation destinations.
Thank you and farewell,
Kelly Keruzore and Olga Chernuck
