Port Hope Fire Chief C. Ryan Edgar dropped the puck for the official kick-off to the 11th annual Port Hope Fire Annual Hockey Tournament in memory of Fire Chief Jim Boughen at the Jack Burger Sports Complex on Friday, March 16, 2018.

Northumberland County Paramedic Bryan Brockbank Northumberland and Port Hope Chief Training Officer Bob Cranley (right) took the opening faceoff between the two teams.

Twelve teams and 150 players are competing in the tournament with the money raised going to the Port Hope Firefighter’s Association which donates to local charities  throughout the year.
