Panthers Win At Home Against Jets in Game Three of the Provincial Junior Hockey League Tod Division Final

The Port Hope Panthers took game three against the Amherstview Jets in the Provincial Junior Hockey League Tod Division Final at the Jack Burger Sports Complex on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
The Jets took game one in overtime at the Jack Burger Sports Complex, but the Panthers dominated the second game in Amherstview.
It was a close game at the Jack Burger on Tuesday night with end to end action.
Port Hope opened up the scoring at 4:57 of the first period with a goal by Evan Foley with assists by Dayton Kent and Christian Streef.
Amherstview scored at 6:33 of the first and that was the end of scoring for the first period.
The only goal in the second was by Port Hope with Cameron Harris scoring on the power play at 8:23 with assists by Cameron McGill and Nathan Snoek.
Port Hope took a two goal lead in the third with a unassisted goal by Dayton Kent at 1:55.
The Jets managed to score two goals to tie the game up again, but the Panthers stayed in the first and got the next three goals to clinch the win and take a lead in the series at 2-1.
Evan Foley scored at 13:56 with an assist by Dayton Kent.
Christian Streef scored at 16:32 with assists by Evan Foley and Jarrett Desormeaux.
And Dayton Kent end up his four point night by scoring an empty net goal at 19:24 with assists by Christian Streef.
