Turtle John’s Bar and Grill Officially Opens

It’s open and delicious!
The newest restaurant in the area officially opened for business.
Turtle John’s Bar and Grill located at 4620 County Road 45 minutes north of Highway 401 opened on Wednesday evening.
Word spread quickly and the sports bar that is a hit in Port Hope plans for the same north of Cobourg.
Manager Tanya Clark said the sports bar is planning on having a grand opening celebration tonight (Friday, February 23) and on Saturday.
“We’re doing some donations to Northumberland Hills Hospital and will be having give-aways.”
Clark said there is approximately 15 staff members in the 2,700 square foot building has been redone from the ground up with 40 televisions throughout.
“There is a tv at every single table and you can change the channel if you wish to whatever you want to watch.”
The sports bar has the same menu as the Port Hope location and even added more to the menu.
There are 14 different types of beer on tap with 16 different selections of red and white wines.
“It’s going to be absolutely amazing for the area and we’ve had so many people call and ask when we will be opening. It’s going to be fabulous for the area.”
On weekends there will be live entertainment and karaoke and each day will feature a different special.
