Ministry of Labour Investigating Industrial Accident in Cobourg’s East End

Cobourg Police have not released any information concerning an industrial accident that took place at a factory in Cobourg’s east end on February 15, 2018 at approximately 12:30.

Reports indicate a woman’s hand became trapped in a machine at the factory.  Northumberland County Paramedics and Cobourg Police attended the scene.  The Ministry of Labour was also called in to investigate.

Reports say the woman suffered severe injuries to her hand and was airlifted from Northumberland Hills Hospital around 3 p.m.

No word on if, or when police will release any information concerning the investigation.
