Paying Tribute To Soldier Along the Highway of Heroes

A family stands on the County Road 45 overpass along the Highway of Heroes at Cobourg waiting to pay their respects for a fallen soldier to pass by on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Master Warrant Officer (MWO) Guy Adam Law of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) was found deceased in his quarters at the Canadian Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan on February 25, 2021.

The cause of death is currently under investigation, and is being assessed as non-operational.

The hearse and another vehicle passed by the bridge shortly after 11 am on their way to Toronto after being repatriated at CFB Trenton.
