Breaking News – Person Struck By Train in Port Hope

One person taken to hospital with what are believed to be critical injuries after being struck by a train in Port Hope on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

Emergency services were dispatched at 9 pm to Hope Street South just south of Peter Street for a person that was struck by a train on the CN tracks.

Numerous police, paramedics and fire department personnel arrived on scene. The person was rushed to Northumberland Hills Hospital with critical injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
