Port Hope Police Media Release

In Police Blotter

Trespassing at night.

On the 9th of July 2018 at about 4:30am a Trefusis Street woman was asleep when she heard someone in her back yard trying to enter the rear door. The woman thought it was possibly a neighbour and went back to sleep. No entry was gained. The woman spoke with her neighbours the next day and determined it was no them. She then called Police about the incident.  There has been a number of trespassing at night incidents reported in the Municipality’s west end and in most cases Police are notified the next day. Port Hope Police are advising citizens who see or hear suspicious activity to call Port Hope Police immediately regardless if it is day or night.
