Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Mischief (No Name Released)

On Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., police were called to the area of Spring Sreet and Orange Street for a report of mischief.

It was reported that an individual attended a residential building and caused damage to the front foyer door.

Upon arrival, a person of interest had left the area.

As a result of the police investigation, on February 21, 2023, a 47-year-old Cobourg man was arrested and charged with the following offence:

• Mischief Under $5,00.00 Contrary to Section 430(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released on the strength of an undertaking with a court date scheduled for March 29, 2023.
