Nominations Open for the Town of Cobourg 20th Business Achievement Awards Gala

The Town of Cobourg and the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that nominations are being accepted for the 20th Business Achievement Awards Gala.

Over the past 22 years, the Business Achievement Awards have recognized hundreds of outstanding businesses and individuals from the Town of Cobourg and the Townships of
Hamilton and Alnwick Haldimand. The event will be held at the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre on Friday, March 24, 2023. The ceremony offers an excellent opportunity
to connect with some of Cobourg’s business owners and entrepreneurs and celebrate our business community.

“We are delighted to be returning to our first in-person gala since 2020”, says Chairperson Ann Newell. “As a local business, being recognized for your work is always special, however,
knowing that the nomination came from your community and people you respect and admire, is what makes this annual event truly rewarding.”

Businesses can be nominated in the following categories:
• Communications and Technology
• Health and Wellness
• Hospitality and Tourism
• Business and Consumer Services
• Manufacturing & Agribusiness Sector
• Retail Trade Sector
• Skilled Trades
• New Start-Up
• Non-Profit Sector

In addition to the above categories, the committee will recognize the recipients of the James Crossen Award for lifetime achievement, the William Crossen Award for young professionals, the Mayor’s Award and the Chamber Chair’s Award during the ceremony.

Submissions must be received by February 13th, 2023 at noon

Gala Evening

The BAA Awards Gala will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 6pm – 11pm at the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre.
