City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service – Theft Charges (Name Released)

On Saturday September 24, 2022 at 2:14pm, Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a Kent Street West business in Lindsay for a reported theft.

Store staff witnessed a female conceal merchandise in her clothing and leave the store without paying.

Officer located the suspect and placed her under arrest. 22-year-old Michaela Davey of Lindsay has been charged with

theft under $5000 X2,

possession of property obtained by crime X2

and fail to comply with probation order.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on October 27, 2022.
