Durham Regional Police – Former Education Worker from Baltimore Charged with Historic Sexual Assault

A 35-year-old education assistant has been charged with sexual assault stemming from an incident at a Durham Region school in 2018.

In August of 2022, members of the Special Victims Unit started an investigation after a victim came forward. As a result, investigators arrested a former education worker on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. This incident took place at a Durham Region elementary school in 2018. The name of the school is being withheld to protect the victim’s identity.

Ashley JENSEN, age 35, of Baltimore, Ontario, is charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. She was released on an Undertaking.

The accused was an employee of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board from 2010 to 2021, and is no longer employed by a school board. Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims.
