Crowded Cobourg Beach Despite Some Closed Lifeguard Stations

In Local

The second last weekend of the summer and Cobourg beach was packed with people enjoying the sun and water.

A quick walk along the beach on Sunday, August 28, 2022 it was evident that two of the life guard stations (Station 1 and 4) weren’t in operation.

There were also groups of people jumping off of the east pier and alcohol clearly visible in some areas of the beach.
