Raising Money for Injured Dirt Bike Rider

Alnwick/Haldimand children hold lemonade stand to raise funds for injured dirt bike rider.

Eight-year-old Cavyn Teixeira held the lemonade stand on Old Gully Road recently to raise funds for Nixon Parsons who was hurt in a moto-cross accident in Lindsay recently. Nixon is still in Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

When Cavyn’s siblings heard about his idea they wanted to help.

Twelve-year-old Capri baked a number of goodies and was left over was donated to Transition House and the women’s shelter.
