Durham Regional Police – Male Youth Arrested After Stabbing in Clarington

A 15-year-old male has been arrested after stabbing another youth at a house party in Clarington.

On Sunday, August 7, 2022, at approximately 1:05 a.m., members of East Division responded to a residence on Scottsdale Drive for reports of an armed person. Officers arrived on scene and located a young male suffering from stabs wounds. The victim was air lifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre in serious but stable condition.

A 15-year-old male was arrested a short distance away and is charged with Aggravated Assault; Assault with a Weapon and Weapons Dangerous.

 

He was released on an Undertaking.
