Durham Regional Police – Three Injured and Two Killed in Overnight Shooting at Oshawa Bar

Fives males have been shot overnight at a bar in Oshawa.  Two of those males have died from their injuries.

 

On Saturday, June 25, 2022, at approximately 12:45 a.m., Police were dispatched to “The BLVD” restaurant and bar located at 1812 Simcoe St N, for reports of shots being fired.  Officers arrived on scene and identified 5 victims suffering from gunshot wounds.  One male was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  A second male was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.   The 3 remaining victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and released.

 

Police are speaking with witnesses and will provide a suspect description when one becomes available.

 

The DRPS Homicide Unit is currently investigating and are appealing for any witnesses with video or information to come forward.
