Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Charged with Possession (No Name Released)

A Cobourg man was charged with possession after being arrested by police on strength on two outstanding warrants.

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 10:30 p.m., police on patrol downtown Cobourg observed a man currently wanted on two outstanding warrants with the Cobourg Police Service.

As a result of police investigation, the man was arrested. Upon arrest, police located a small quantity of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine and Crack Cocaine. The 38-year-old Cobourg man was charged with the following offences:

1. Possession of a Controlled Substances; to wit Crack Cocaine, contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

2. Possession of a Controlled Substance; to wit Crystal Methamphetamine, contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The man was released on an undertaking with a court date scheduled for June 8, 2022.
