The virtual house tour is a 90-minute video produced by Two Blue Shirts Productions and the House Tour Committee that comprises interviews, historic information, drone footage and in depth look into 12 homes and locales in Port Hope with bonus material from Holton Flowers, Henderson Construction and Lee Caswell Classic Homes. At the conclusion of the original screening of the virtual tour on October 12, Bickle received upwards of 100 emails containing positive feedback on the presentation.
With over 400 tickets purchased and 29 sponsors for the event, the committee has raised thus far over $30,000 towards heritage conservation projects like the Opera House, Rose Cottage, Wesleyville Village, and The Little Station in Port Hope.
The Christmas re-launch of the virtual tour will include a new introduction by the co-chairs and will be available for viewing December 15th – January 15th. The proceeds will once again go towards heritage conservation projects, and ticket prices remain the same at $30, with gifting available on the Port Hope House Tour website now at www.porthopehousetour.com.
