House Fire In Hamilton Township Estimated at $500,000

Damage estimates could reach $500,000 following a house fire in Hamilton Township on Sunday April 11, 2021.


At approximately 9:50 am firefighters from all three stations in Hamilton Township responded to a residence on Bamsey Drive east of Bewdley.


When crews arrived on scene flames were coming from the roof area.


Support was called from Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services to battle the fire.


Fire damage was confined to the upper floor but there was smoke and water damage to other areas of the dwelling.


Owners had reported smoke coming from the walls near the chimney.
