One Person Taken Into Custody Following Collision in Brighton

Northumberland OPP say one person was taken into custody following a single vehicle collision in Brighton on Thursday, April 8, 2021.


At approximately 2:30 a van was travelling westbound on Butler Street when it left the roadway and struck a hydro pole – breaking it.


The driver of the van was taken into custody and the investigation is continuing.


Butler Street west of Megan Court was closed until hydro workers could repair the pole.
