Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested for Theft

Police attended an address on Blake Street in the Town of Cobourg in response to a report of a suspicious
person seen entering an unlocked garage.

Upon arrival, police located a woman inside the garage. Police investigation revealed that the woman had
taken packages from front porches in the area, and she was in possession of stolen merchandise.

As a result, 34-year-old Tiffany Bowen of Cobourg was arrested and charged with:

Theft Under $5000 contrary to section 334(b) of the Criminal Code

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal
Code

Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
Bowen was released on an appearance notice with a court date.
