Chief Financial Officer Appointed at Cobourg Police Service

Cobourg Police Service announced on March 16, 2021 that Roger Ramkissoon has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, effective March 22, 2021.

In this newly created position, Mr. Ramkissoon will lead the overall human resources, financial management and business planning processes, including the financial audit process, budget and accounting controls, and material
management functions of the organization.

Mr. Ramkissoon’s background includes serving in financial leadership roles at OCASI in Toronto, Clico
Investment Bank and Intercommercial Banks in Trinidad & Tobago, and as CFO of Community
Hospital in Trinidad & Tobago. Roger is currently serving as the Manager, Financial, Administrative
and Member Services with the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario
(AMCTO). He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University, a Master
of Business Administration degree from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and holds
both the Chartered Professional Accountant & the Certified Human Resources Professional
designations. Roger serves on various boards and committees, including as Board President to the
New Hope non-profit Dwellings, Durham Outlook for the Needy, and Community Development
Council Durham.
