Cobourg Police – Man Arrested for Fail to Comply

In the early evening of Monday, March 8, 2021, members of the Cobourg Police Service on general patrol in
the downtown area observed a man in possession of a weapon. The man was on a probation order with a
condition not to possess any weapons.


As a result of further police investigation, 26-year-old Michael BERRYMAN of Cobourg was arrested and
charged with:


Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada


BERRYMAN was released with an April 2021 court date.
