Cobourg Police – Woman Turns Herself In On Outstanding Warrant

On the afternoon of Friday, February 12, 2021, a woman wanted by police on the strength of an outstanding arrest warrant attended the Cobourg Police Station to turn herself in to police custody.
As a result, 45 -year-old Patricia SASS of Trenton was arrested and charged with the following:

1. Failing to Attend Court contrary to section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

2. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

3. Draw Document without Authority Contrary to Section 347(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

4. Use, Deals Act on Forged Document Contrary to Section 368(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

5. Fraud Under $5,000.00 Contrary to Section 380(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

SASS was released from police custody scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in March of 2021.
