Drive-By In Support of Hope Street Terrace Long-Term Care Facility in Port Hope

Hope Street Terrace Long-Term Care facility in Port Hope is having a drive-by on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 to recognize the efforts of staff who are tackling a COVID-19 outbreak.

The drive-by stats in the parking lot of Food Basics on Hope Street South at 1:15 p.m.

It will then proceed north along Hope Street flashing lights and honking horns once the building is in sight.

The procession will then make a left onto Ward Street followed by another left going south along Princess Street honking once again as they pass the building.

Participants are advised to be respectful and only begin sounding your horn when the building is in sight along Hope Street and again on Princess Street.

“Our staff and residents have truly been amazing through all of this and deserve our respect and admiration, so let’s show them how much they mean and how much we support them,” said Executive Director of Hope Street Terrace, April Beckett
