Northumberland OPP – Pedestrian Struck in Trent Hills

Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating an incident where a pedestrian was allegedly struck while crossing a street in the town of Campbellford.

At approximately 7:00 pm on Thursday August 20, 2020, the 71-year-old victim was crossing Canrobert Street heading southbound. A dark coloured pick-up truck was travelling eastbound on Canrobert Street approaching the intersection at Grand Road. The pick-up truck allegedly struck and knocked the victim to the ground which resulted in the victim receiving minor injuries. The suspect vehicle did not stop and was last seen heading northbound on Grand Road.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1 888 310-1122.
