Signs Are There For A Reason On East Pier In Cobourg

In Local

A father and son were escorted off the east pier in Cobourg on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Both went beyond the closed off section of the east pier and walked toward the lighthouse.

Two Cobourg Police Special Constables noticed the two walking beyond the barriers and escorted them back to the public area and cautioned the father.

Ironically, as the pair were being escorted back, there was at least two people standing on the boulders of  the west pier.
