Northumberland OPP – Break and Enter – Cigarettes Stolen

(ALNWICK-HALDIMAND TWP, ON) – Members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a break and enter and theft of cigarettes that occurred on Wednesday June 10, 2020.

At approximately 2:50 am officers were dispatched to an alarm at a gas bar located on County Road 45 in Alderville First Nation. The front door of the gas bar was found to have been breached and premium cigarettes were reported stolen.

Surveillance video was reviewed and it was found that a silver 4 door sedan entered the parking lot with two suspects exiting the vehicle and a third suspect driving the car.

The first suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, with a thin build wearing a black sweater with a batman symbol on the chest, wearing black gloves, black shoes and grey sweat pants with the Adidas logo on the lower left leg .

The second suspect is described as being male,with a medium build, wearing a camouflage coloured sweater or jacket, a grey balaclava, blue jeans and white Nike shoes.

The vehicle was last seen travelling north on County Road 45.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1 888 310-1122.
