Pickup Goes Airborne After Entering Ditch – Driver Charged

A pickup truck went airborne after it went into the ditch on County Road 45 in Hamilton Township on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. emergency services were notified of a pick-up truck in the ditch on County Road 45 approximately two kilometres north of Highway 401.

The truck was heading north, but was in the southbound ditch.

One witness who was on her front porch said she saw the vehicle go airborne over her driveway after it went in the ditch.

A man and woman were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The driver (man) was charged with careless driving.
