Collision West of Grafton Sends One to Hospital

One person had to be extricated from their vehicle following a head-on crash in Grafton on Thursday, June 4, 2020.

At approximately 2 p.m. emergency services were notified of the collision on County Road 2 just west of Grafton.

A pickup truck was heading westbound and a van heading eastbound when they collided head-on with both vehicles going into the north ditch.

The driver of the van had to be extricated by members of the Alnwick/Haldimand Township Fire Department.

The driver of the pickup truck received minor injuries. There is no word on the condition of the driver of the van.

Northumberland OPP are investigating and no word on charges.
