Peterborough County OPP – Vehicle Rollover On County Road 36

DRIVER AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL 

(MUNICIPALITY OF TRENT LAKES, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision on County Road 36 yesterday just before 1:30pm.

An eastbound motor vehicle left the roadway and rolled over into the ditch. The lone occupant of the vehicle was initially trapped and had to be extricated by members of the Municipality of Trent Lakes Fire Services. The driver was subsequently flown by air ambulance to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The roadway was closed temporarily to assist with the investigation. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
