GRCA Partnered with RainBarrel.ca Selling Rain Barrels this Spring

In Community

Port Hope – The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA) has partnered with RainBarrel.ca in selling rain barrels this spring. For a cost of $55.00 (includes taxes) you can receive the many benefits a rain barrel can offer:

  • You can water with rainwater anytime, regardless of lawn watering restrictions
  • Soft rainwater is preferred by your plants
  • Rainwater is free – save money on your water bill
  • Reduce water use on your water supply well, especially during the dry months
  • Capturing stormwater runoff controls moisture levels around the foundation of your home
  • Protects our rivers and streams from runoff pollution by diverting water from storm sewers

For only $55.00 you will receive a rain barrel that includes a leaf and mosquito filter basket, an overflow adaptor, a spigot and an overflow hose.

Pre-ordered rain barrels will be available for pick-up on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority, in Port Hope.

You can help the GRCA meet their goal by sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends and others.

The GRCA thanks the local community for its continued support!
