Drug Charges In Quinte West

(QUINTE WEST, ON) On May 2, 2018, at approximately 6:03 p.m., officers from the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.), Quinte West Fire and Hastings Quinte EMS responded to an unconscious male in a motor vehicle on Sidney Street in the City of Quinte West.

An investigation led to a male party from Quinte West being arrested and charged with the following offences:

  •  CDSA 4(1) Possession of a Schedule II substance-Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams
  • CDSA 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
  • CDSA 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
  • CDSA 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Heroin
  • CC 733.1(1) Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • CC 733.1(1) Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • HTA 53(1) Driving while under suspension

The male was held for a Bail Hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 15 Bridge Street West, Belle ville on May 3, 2018.
