Cobourg Police – Robbery and Assault In Local Park

On Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at approximately 3:40 pm, Cobourg Police Service received information of a robbery that occurred on Saturday, February 1, 2020, in a local park in the Town of Cobourg.

The female victim was walking in a park when an unknown offender approached her and attempted to rob her. The unknown offender was holding onto what was described to be a sharp object. The unknown offender ensued a struggle with the female victim. The female victim was able to get away, suffering cuts on both her arms due to the struggle.

Today’s Northumberland has reached out to police to ask which park.  Will update as soon as information becomes available.
