Update – Cobourg Police – Drug Arrests Downtown Cobourg

On the 4th of December 2019 Cobourg Police attended a downtown business upon report of a male and female involved in a drug transaction. Upon arrival police identified and arrested the female suspect and arrested the male suspect a short time later after police investigation.

As a result, 41-year-old Cobourg resident Janice Ford was charged with the following offences
Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance x3 Contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act sec.4(1) (suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine).

Also charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance x1 Contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act sec.4(1) is 37-year-old Ryan Conroy of no fixed address (suspected methamphetamine).

Both accused were being held for a bail hearing later today.
