Emergency Services Respond To Report of Two People Unconscious In Downtown Cobourg

At approximately 4 p.m.  on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 emergency services (one firetruck, two ambulances, two police cruisers totaling 11 emergency workers) attended the area in front of Dutch Oven on King Street in Cobourg for two people who were reported unconscious.

Police attended the area upon the report a male and female in possession of narcotics.

Cobourg Police said both parties were believed to be under the influence of narcotics at the time. Both parties were transported to Northumberland Hills Hospital under police guard.

Both parties being held for bail but being guarded at hospital until medically cleared.

A further release will be issued with charges
