On October 22, 2019 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), OPP Emergency Response Team and OPP Canine Unit responded to a request for assistance from Canadian Forces Base Trenton Military Police after a vehicle failed to stop and the driver fled the vehicle on foot in the area of Bain Park in the City of Quinte West.
Nathan William DOBRATZ, 36 years old of Ottawa, was located by OPP canine, arrested and charged with:
Flight from Police
Mischief
Prohibited Driving
Fail to Comply with Recognizance (4x Counts)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2x Counts)
The accused was held for a bail hearing and was scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on October 23, 2019 in Belleville.
